Worship Ministry For all He has done for you, and for all He wants to do... God delights in sincere worship. It's our way of saying 'thanks' and showing Him how much love and appreciate His holiness, sovereignty and care for us. Often times we think of 'worship' as singing songs on Sunday morning but authentic, heartfelt worship is so much more! As you read David's psalm of thanksgiving and praise in 1 Chronicles 16 imagine the joy and satisfaction the author experienced in and communicated to God and his peers through his worship! The New Testament gospel writers in Matthew, John and Romans revealed that worship isn't about the music, the building, the preacher or the presentation. Worship must be personal, offered "in spirit and truth", an example of how we long to be "a living sacrifice of praise" to the Giver of all things! In worship we express our joy and thanks, our longings and desires, our pain and needs. But more importantly, by offering ourselves in worship we express our belief and trust in God Almighty through His Son, Jesus Christ, who hears our prayers and intercedes for us. As we lift Him up, He lifts us up, and we become one in the Holy Spirit. When you come to Lakeside Fellowship, you’ll find the worship to be not only upbeat and contemporary, but reverent and worshipful.
