Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting
Please join us on Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM until 10:25. Child care is provided. We meet in the Youth Room in the back of the church. You can attend as often or as little as your schedule allows.
Intercession means to pray on someone else’s behalf. We start our meeting with some discussion and teaching and then begin to pray for the worship service that follows, and for whatever other items the Holy Spirit leads us to, including personal prayer requests.

Care Ministry
Caring for one another is an essential part of following Jesus. Everyone finds themselves in need of help and support at one time or another. The church community is called to bond together and share what God has given us to help. Here are some ways we express our care for one another.
Gambling Addiction: A GA group meets at Lakeside every Thursday at 6:30pm. All are welcome.
Grief Group: Though Lakeside doesn’t currently offer a grief group at this time, please click on the link to "Walking the Mourner's Path" to connect with St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Lake Mary and their ministry to those who grieve.
ACS Look Good Feel Better Support Group: Open to all female patients currently undergoing cancer treatment - held at Central Florida Cancer Care Center.
ACS Man to Man: Prostate Cancer Support Group: Held at Central Florida Cancer Care Center.
Meal Ministry: During major life transitions such as the death of a loved one, the birth of a baby, or a sudden illness, sometimes it helps to have assistance with preparing meals. This team organizes provision of meals usually for one week’s time as a way of caring for families in need.
Pastoral Care: There are times when you need someone to talk over an issue in your life with someone. Other times you may be facing important transitions like marriage, relationship issues, illness, loss of a job, or death of a loved one. Please contact the church office and ask to speak with the pastor who will schedule a time to provide guidance and prayer in light of the Christian faith.
