Welcome to Ms. Amanda, Ms. Kari & Ms. Kris's class:
"Radiant Rainbows!"
2010 - 2011
Welcome to Our Colorful School Family!
I am so excited about starting this school year! We are going to have so much fun and you will be amazed how much your child will learn and grow. I know for some parents and students the beginning of the school year can be a scary experience, especially for two year old children. Please know, we are a school family and your children will be treated as part of our family. We will have classroom structure but we will also offer fun, love, and understanding. Your child will be cherished and respected.
I will try to individualize teaching techniques to fit your child's learning style. Every child learns differently and we will try to meet their educational needs to the best of our ability. We will send home newsletters and activities for you to work on with your child. These activities will help reinforce our lessons in the classroom.
This will be an exciting school year for your child, full of wonder and new experiences. I am honored that you trust us to provide that first school experience. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions or concerns.

• We will begin the first week in August with All About Me. We will discuss friends, family and feelings. Please send in a family photo that we can display.
• We will learn that God made each one of us in his own image and that we are his very special creation!
• We will not be going to Chapel for the first week of school. Our schedule will allow us to get to know each other.
• Please make sure you bring your child with a backpack containing a change of clothes, diapers and baby wipes. Cups and toys from home are discouraged.
• Please fill out and return your "All About Me" sheet in your welcome folder. This gives me an opportunity to learn more about your child and be able to comfort him/her better.
• I am looking for a volunteer for Room Parent. The room parents help with special activities throughout the year.
