Dear Parents,

 

We hope that you are enjoying your last few weeks of summer. We have been hard at work preparing for the new school year and are excited to be offering another fun and exciting year for our students and their families.

 

Here are some things to think about as the school year approaches.  This may be your child’s first school experience. Your child may be feeling excited, curious, and even a little apprehensive. All of these feelings are normal, we want your child’s experience here at Lakeside to be a positive one so please keep in mind that we can work together to create a positive experience for everyone.

 

For our families that are returning, we are honored that you have chosen Lakeside and are looking forward to a new and exciting year. For those of you who are new, I am delighted that you have chosen our school and will try in every way to make your child’s experiences here be great ones.

 

We encourage our parents to become involved in their child’s preschool and kindergarten experiences. Visits to school and meetings with teachers are encouraged, and may be scheduled at the parent’s request.

 

Please make a special note that our “Meet the Teacher” is on Saturday, August 14th. Thank you for helping make Lakeside Preschool and Kindergarten an awesome place to be.
